Patreon conversion rates are brutal. The platform-wide average from creator-to-paid-member on a cold profile view is under 1%. The creators who outperform. Closer to 4-6%. Do the same six things. The ones who underperform skip two or three of them.
The Patreon Creator Audit checks all six against your public page. Hero image. About / pitch paragraph. Pricing tiers (2-4 is the sweet spot; 5+ dilutes). Welcome video. Patron count visibility. Recent post cadence.
The tier one matters most. A creator with a single $5 tier converts worse than a creator with $3 / $7 / $15 because the middle tier anchors the high tier, and the $3 entry point gives fence-sitters a low-risk yes. If your audit shows one tier or two tiers with compressed pricing, rework that first.
The welcome video is the other non-obvious lever. Creators with a welcome video convert roughly 2x. Paying members are buying a relationship; a 60-second hello on the profile is how you show there's a person on the other end. The generated fix prompt writes the script for it.
