Output

Save as claude_desktop_config.json in ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/ (macOS) or %APPDATA%\Claude\ (Windows). Replace placeholder env values before launching Claude Desktop. Use scoped/read-only tokens where possible.

Use vendor-published servers where available; scope tokens to read-only by default; never store secrets in committed config; never expose write-capable servers to public-facing agents without security review.
