What We Collect

When you submit a form on this site (contact form, chapter request, or floating message panel), we collect the information you provide: name, email address, and message content. This data is stored in our Netlify Forms account.

Third-Party Services

  • Netlify Forms (Netlify Inc.) — Form submissions are stored in our Netlify account. Netlify Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — Anonymous browsing analytics. You can decline tracking via the cookie consent banner. Google Privacy Policy.
  • Netlify (Netlify Inc.) — Website hosting. May collect server access logs. Netlify Privacy Policy.
  • Amazon (Amazon.com Inc.) — Book purchase links redirect to Amazon, which has its own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them via the consent banner. Your theme preference, font size, and accessibility settings are stored in localStorage (not transmitted to any server).

Data Retention

Form submissions are retained in Netlify until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults (14 months).

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us at hello@jwatte.com or through the contact page.

GDPR & CCPA

If you are in the EU, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and portability. If you are in California, you have rights under CCPA including the right to know, delete, and opt out of data sales. We do not sell personal data.
